Victoria Jones has been playing the oboe for over 20 years both professionally and recreationally. She has played in various ensembles on all of the instruments in the woodwind and high brass families! She has spent the last 11 years as a band director teaching all instruments grades 6th-12th. She is passionate about quality instrumental music education for all students.
While working full time as a band director, she attended Arkansas State University where she earned her Master's in the Science of Educational Leadership and completed all of the requirements to become a licensed administrator. Prior to this, Victoria attended the University of Mississippi and received her Bachelor's Degree in Music Education after spending 2 years at Northwest Mississippi Community College to obtain her Associates in Music Education. Originally from Memphis, Tennessee, she obtained her high school diploma from Harding Academy of Memphis.
Victoria resides in Hernando, Mississippi with her husband, Parker Jones, their children, Michael and Elizabeth. and their dog, Maggie.
